Mairin Moore Cane knows what it’s like to look strong on the outside while holding everything together behind the scenes.
For most of her life, she was the high performer—the fixer, the doer, the one everyone could count on.
She built businesses, raised a family, and stayed in motion.
On the surface, it looked like she had it all together.
Years of stress, overextension, and self-neglect finally caught up with her. Her body, which had been whispering for years, began to scream.
She was diagnosed with gastroparesis and other chronic conditions that reshaped everything.
At her lowest point, Mairin spent nearly three years bedridden— 90 pounds, facing not only a health crisis but an identity crisis.
Chronic illness left her with little, but it also revealed what truly matters.

The first meeting with introductions came quite a bit of personal story and conversation, which left my business brain spinning a little bit. For the second meeting, I thought all the “personal” stuff was out of the way so that we could focus on getting down to business. What I experienced was more discussion about our personal journey through some difficult times. It was raw, deep, into my business brain still confusing.
What I discovered through this is having a place where we can find support for our personal messy journeys, allows each member to go out in the business world and get shit done! Each member of this group feel seen, heard, which leaves them feeling motivated so that they can tackle the business that they need to.
